ESPN trying to push around the CFP Committee; [LINK]

Jan 28, 2015, 6:47 AM

Looks like the committee isn't having it...

They did it last season.

They systematically kept the SEC teams in the top of the polls until they pushed them into bowl game where they weren't even competitive.

ESPiN's CFB Nation teams get 90% or more of their airtime.

About the only time they mention anyone else is when they have something negative to say either directly or a Mutt Schtick innuendo...

They sure did! They even had those bottom feeding Miss.

schools in the top 4! Can you imagine if Duke and Wake were 6-0 to start a season, would SEcspn have them in the top 4??? I think not. Even if they upset FSU or GT or ND. They might be in the top 20s.

I would prefer the championship game to be played on Saturday instead of Monday. Too many people have to get up early for work, not me, but others. Retired but still would prefer Saturday over Monday. I think they would have a better viewer rating.

Honestly, i think there will be more viewers if the games are not on New Years Eve. I would prefer it that way. Nothing wrong with a network trying to maximize viewers.
Know, the CFP committee deciding to be ball-less and mirror the polls this season is another story.

On principle, if ESPN is for something, then I'm opposed.***

I don't blame either side. If i were ESPN i would push for

Jan 28, 2015, 11:53 AM

the same thing, and if i were part of the CFB playoff i would tell them to F off.
