Do you know what the latest word is on Jay Jay McCullough? Wondering how he sits with the program right now and if he was able to get his issues back on track. I really hope this kid does. I thought he had the most potential at TE....maybe even more than Leggett. His size, hands and athleticism would make a nasty combo in our offense next season. Thanks in advance.

I have been trying to text and find out about Jay Jay (and not draw the ire of Dabo) since the bowl game. I was told in December that what happened with Jay Jay was serious, and he had been given more than one chance. As far as I know, he is still in school. His status with the program? I don't know...I reached out to the football SID this morning and he said he doesn't even know but is going to try and find out. Been a rather hush-hush situation all the way around.

Some of the rumors I have heard do not bode well for him as far as his place on the team. I won't repeat them and I know that will frustrate some. I just hope that the rumors aren't true and that though it may be serious it won't jeopardize his future. Nevertheless, Dabo has shown that he doesn't tolerate poor behavior and so I would expect that he is doghoused for good reason. Wish the best for him but also for our program. Clemson won't suffer for his mistakes and if he stays I hope he finds a way to contribute and if not others will step up. Thanks David for you diligent work and sensitivity on the subject.
