How bout some CLEMSON FOOTBALL talk today??

A month between games makes me antsy! I'm excited for Oklahoma, and anybody who is choosing to dump on the bowl games for not being "good enough" aren't true fans at all.
This gives us a good chance to beat yet another "household-name powerhouse team" a la Ohio State or LSU. I'm sure most casual football fans as far west as Oklahoma would assume the Sooners would be the better team, thanks to the ongoing "Clemsoning" stigma being pushed by the media.
I really haven't watched much of OK this year, but I don't see any reason why we can't beat them. The Georgia game was an anomaly; our defense is even better and will be with then-suspended starters Peters and Crawford. If we pressure the QB and sack him early, we will win.
I know the Sooners have a good run defense, but if our OL can show out like they did against the coots, we should be okay. Run the jet-sweep as the deep threat instead of throwing long. Grind it out on the ground with Gallman and Dye and wear their D-line out. Move the chains with dumpoffs and bubble screens and use Scott/Humphries out of the wildcat formation. Maybe add in a Mike Williams 10 yard post route if you're feeling lucky. Bottom line is, we can win this game without having to rely on Cole's arm. Gotta get on the board early.
I think this game's gonna be a grinder. Ultimately, I think it will come down to turnovers. If we can avoid INTs, or negate turnovers with forced TOs of our own, we should be in good shape. We always prep well for bowl games, and Ok could slack off in conditioning like LSU did. The D will be fired and hungry...Vic gets 2 sacks and Anthony creates a turnover upon returning in the 2nd half. Offense sputters constantly, but puts together some nice drives to set up some scoring opportunities. Wouldn't be surprised to see a long Artavis Scott TD or a score on a trick play (Sammy to Ellington in 2012??)
