Just in from the Coot Game

They play that techno/#### Sandstorm all the time. They enter the court through weak fire extinguisher smoke.

We played a putrid second half. Didn't make 3rd FG in the 2nd half until about 6 minutes left in the game. Lots of futility. We got drilled and I hate losing to the dirtpeckers in anything.

HOWEVER, it is amazing how much less it seems to hurt after 35-17.

There were maybe 2000 people in there before tip-off. It finally filled out a little (maybe 8000) by the 5 min mark. They weren't loud until they had a solid lead in the second half. They had a few cheers that they did, but only a handful participated. They did keep their second hand traditions alive - fire extinquishers, sandstorm, and #### cloths. At least they do have one tradition - had one guy yell, "F*CK Clemson" on our way in.

I had no issues with anybody there. They seemed to behave fairly well to me.

You're right about the late arriving crowd - we made the same comment.

The first thing that hit me when we walked in was the 85' banner of Frank Martin. Those guys are pathetic with their coach worship. Can you imagine hanging out with Slurrier and Martin together? What a great time that would be.
