Starting from scratch, how long does it take a capable coach

to build an NCAA tournament team?

I've always liked Brownell and thought he was a great coach. Yet, what I'm seeing now in year 5 is terrible. One NCAA appearance in his first year here with another coach's players is not good enough. I can't ignore the reality or the results, and I have no choice but to rethink my opinion.

If Brownell was going to make NCAA, last year was the year.

We missed the opportunity. He found a diamond in the rough in KJ, but still couldn't get it done.

I think he is a good coach, but I don't think he will get the players needed to compete in the ACC.
