What about the "ALL IN"

Nov 28, 2014, 6:01 AM

I understand it's the dream of some coaches to become a HC
the season is not over until after the Bowl Game
how can a/any coach be "ALL IN" if their in talks of moving on
Do not know how Dabo views this rumor, this might only be
my view but every time someone whom worked for me started looking
for another JOB I would help them with their decisions, I would
thank them for what they had done, wish them well, tell them good luck,
take their keys, help them pack and show them their way out, as soon
as I knew they were looking.

What's the harm in looking?

You might realize you're better off where you are.

nothing wrong with someone looking
they just never did it on my dime

How can CM be ALL In taking time to be looking
after the season would show more respect to the ones
who are signing his pay check now
No way he can be 100% focused on his job

Pretty sure he can't control who calls him or when...

Nor can he control who runs their mouth and starts rumors.

I seriously doubt it was Chad who said, hey...run this story 24 hours before the rivalry game.

all) coordinators want to become head coaches, and there is nothing wrong with that. the only thing i don't like is the timing. most moves happen after the regular season, with some staying to coach the bowl game, while others leave before the bowl game.
as far as regular jobs, again there is nothing wrong with trying to improve your life, be it more money, better working environs/conditions,benefits,better chance of upward mobility,etc.. now, if the person chose to seek employment with a direct competitor all bets are off,and i would do just as you stated.

With all of the criticism he gets everyday from all these wannabe coaches, it was probably an easy choice. We could be in real trouble. This has come out at a terrible Tim, an emotionally flat and distracted team....maybe #6 is staring us in the face!

Any person who doesn't keep an eye open for a better position in life is ok by me. This world has you pinned down to so many obligations , and you have an obligation to you to improve your standing in it.
Cannot blame CM for wanting to challenge himself , and my bet is that if this thing is true that Dabo Swinney is very happy for him.

Coaches are not like we fans are. Fans are with their schools for life, coaches are just employees of the school. All the rah rah talk is just that, talk. I don't blame him or any coach for leaving and bettering their careers but the timing is horrible.
