How will it affect our recruiting class? Surely the recruits knew this would be a possibility, as there has been talk of him leaving for a HC job (if one was offered) for 2 years.

This is my main concern.
I'm hoping it won't have any affect on anybody. I know he may be leaving, but...out with the old, in with the new. We just need a smooth transition.

If we lose a WR then go get some more depth on for our offensive line. These WRs will come in and want to play immediately with everyone in the world knowing it will be at least two years before they can run block. A lineman will red shirt and know how to block the second year, that's his primary function. He won't be working on what's going on with somebody's secondary.
