Chad isn't leaving

Nov 27, 2014, 11:07 PM

Why in the world would someone that would be in the running for a big time job go to that place?

Also, in the case that Morris does leave to go somewhere else, you guys that were bashing him would be eating crow.

He's been passed over for many bigger jobs recently...

He is from Texas and doesnt want to become that guy that gets passed over for every job. If he proves himself as a HC at a smaller school he could then get a bigger job just like Malzahn did with Arkansas State.

I don't think he's ready to run a big time program yet.

SMU isn't a bit time program so they don't care and neither does Chad, he just wants to go home. I can't say I blame him.

SMU is garbage. He could go there and have a terrible 3 or 4 years and never get another shot at head coach on the Div.1 tier.
If Morris were to leave Clemson , he would do well to wait til after bowl season for a better opportunity. There will be a few .

SMU has a lot of money and a rich tradition so is a great fit for him as they have been down for years since receiving the death penalty. Good news for us is he will not be recruiting against us
