Our biggest advantage when DW is at the helm.

Nov 26, 2014, 7:11 PM

DW certainly has a physical superiority to Cole but that's not the most defining difference, imo.

This entire teams gains composure and confidence from DW, confidence and composure that it can't get from Cole. I love Cole, he's my boy and I want to see him finish the game with two touchdown passes that will put us up by 50. But, anyone who thinks Dabo doesn't understand leadership is just friggin brain dead.

DW starts and puts this game away before Cole sees the field.

Every time he is about to be hit. He does bruise easy

Make OL can block like Denver's does and no stinkin body touches #4

Agreed.. If DW doesn't start, I don't believe he plays.

I think it will be another situation like the Wake game if he doesn't take the 1st snap on offense.

If he can play he needs to start. I don't believe in the "if we need him". He's either healthy enough to play or not.

Hoping Deshaun is well enough to start but Dabo closing practice to most people this week concerns me. Was it to keep SCU in the dark and make them prepare more for Cole? Or is it obvious that Deshaun is really limited? I'm thinking it's more about keeping SCU off balance but I'm still concerned.
Go Tigers!!

People around campus have said DW walks around with out a hint of a limp. He is playing !!

His ability to throw the deep ball is a big part of that.

Nov 26, 2014, 7:29 PM

He is amazingly accurate on all throws(he's always perfect to the rb in the flat) and has an extremely quick release, but he can put a deep pass right on the money where only his guy can catch it more consistently than any qb I've seen. That pass to Mike Williams is unstoppable. Like a gift from the gods.

Yep, but they have to be rusty on that throw now. Hope that has been big part of practice this week

Biggest advantage with Deshaun is not going 3&out every single offensive possession.

The whole team has a swagger when DW is QB. I agree with you there. Whatever "it" is, he has it.
