That is what I see going on in this Alum vs non-alum debate. The looking down on people in general. This generation as seen more class envy and warfare than I can remember.

Is that really what our culture has become? For one to succeed must others fail?

Do the Alums want the non-alums to have a special seating area? Separate bathrooms? Separate water fountains? Separate concession stands?

When you start looking down on others you are saying more about your self than the people you flaunt your status too.

A lot of people did not attend Clemson that love it. But they want their kids to go there because of a special sense of community the schools have become over the generations.

If Clemson becomes "Snob-U" then the non-Alums may turn Clemson into F-U

my non-alumni ### will be there Saturday to root for my Tigers as I have done for over 45 years. And with me will be my soon-to-be Clemson graduate daughter (December 2014) and my other "Loves Clemson" daughter. Just saying, had I been able to attend Clemson, I would have. Don't judge people when you may not know the whole story. Go Tigers !!

alums feel they can continue to look down on the "less fortunate" it will pain me more than anything in the world but I would almost hope my children would go to a different school when they grow up.
