and it's an up-and-coming program.
Clemson didn't start out with an 83,000 seat stadium either...

Agree- they gave us much respect for our environment,

especially the hospitality and the coordinated cheering. Said they'd like to emulate what we have and do. I thought they got loud and noticed they made an effort with the cheers too. Their fan forums have nothing but high praise for our environment and one to benchmark all others from. Plus their team is legit.

Point is most other big name acc programs sest about as many as we have season tixs. FSU is about the only one close to us in attendance.

Louisville as an up and comer that is going to bring more than it takes from the ACC. Lane Stadium isn't as big as DV either, but they have 4X as many ACC championships as we do in the last 10 years.
Louisville is nothing like the Dukes, Wakes, Syracuses, etc. that aren't football oriented schools. Like I said - up until 1985 DV wasn't all that big either.

Louisville has everything needed to be a power house in college football. It's a city without an NFL team I would say it's double the size of greenville. Money and a great fanbase. There only real issue is they are not even close to any of the fertile recruiting grounds.

Cards fan here. Stadium expansion is in the works. It will be somewhere in the 70,000 range in the next few years. It was just a few years ago PJCS was 42,000. The current footprint would seat around 70,000 if it was all bleachers but it's all chairback seats so they take up more space. We have a current season ticket base of 45,000.
It's a tightly held secret but there are 3 proposals setting on Jurich's desk and I believe all 3 have the current open endzone enclosed in. I just wish UofL would release what those 3 look like.

Great news! We need more big filled stadiums in the ACC. Can't wait to visit Louisville to see the Tigers play! (Although I have been there before for other reasons)

Before you talk too much #### about them you should probably hold off until you see how much their basketball arena makes ours look like a dump.
I have been to two games there. It is a top notch facility.

Loud and into the game. Lane Stadium at VT used to be about the same size and it was one of the biggest home field advantages during their golden years.
Now Syracuse, with about the same size capacity is lame as hell, but that's probably due to their horrible team and maybe partially due to their ugly women.

It's obvious that their fans are into it more than most ACC fanbases.

Dude UL has great fans. They would pack out a 65K stadium and soon will I bet. They don't deserve any crap.
