What an arrogant yankee! He wouldn't admit that he picked them to lose against ND yesterday when a caller calmly called in to discuss FSU. And, he's been hating on FSU all year! I am definitely no
FSU fan, but I am VERY tired of the SEC hype. And they are our best chance, as a conference, to catch up some ground. If we can deflate the SEC, maybe we can start getting the attention, money, respect, and recruits that they get.

Don't really see how that's pumping a conference, more like just getting the best deal for Clemson

The fact that everyone on this board knows what his pick was and that people are going to tune in just to hear him eat crow and make excuses means he wins. His job is to garner ratings for the station. All of this talk is giving him just what he wants.

Well, I will not be listening. Actually listening on my way in this morning, the show has been filled with more advertising spots than talk and sports coverage. Walt will get his normal people who worship his every word.

I'm sure he had plenty of secret loopholes to that pick so he won't be wrong somehow. Like, "I said Louisville will win if Dyer rushes for 180 yards and he only rushed for 130 and that was the difference in the game".
