This better pass. This law never made sense to begin with. Clemson needs to get with the times. How ridiculous is it to realize there's never been an NFL Sunday at TTT's...

I always hated that downtown basically rolled up the carpets at midnight on Saturday. Not only did it cut out a ton of social hang-out opportunities, but it also drives college kids back to their dorms to get sloppy-drunk with a lot less structure/oversight.

This absolutely needs to pass. In addition to what other posters mentioned regarding TTT, it's also based on what our country was founded on. "Separation of Church and State." I've never understood how we can say that, yet still have all kinds of nonsensical blue laws. Either ban it entirely, or make it free to purchase every day of the week. But this whole "oh, my grandma gets upset if Rite-Aid opens before she gets out of church on Sunday..." - that garbage has got to stop.

This has been voted on in Clemson before. It seems like 5 or 6 years ago. It didn't even come close to passing then. I think it was around 75 percent opposed. Maybe it will be different this time.
