High school football surprise game of the season.

Garrett High ( North Charleston ) traveled to Whale Branch ( near Beaufort ) for an away game and got a big surprise. The same one Whale Branch got when they arrived at Garrett for their away game at about the same time. The game will be rescheduled at a latter date, hopefully with both teams on the same field this time.

Charleston. Highway 17 used to be faster but the speed limits have lowered on longer sections and congestion on that route have made 26 West to 95 South quicker. Since the 55 speed limit was done away with, the interstates are faster now.

By Hwy 17: 67.5 miles, 1 hour 27 minutes
By I-95/I-26 - 108 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes
But I might feel differently if I drove around in a bus

to go south on 95 are now taking 26 to 95. They say it's faster in real life. Yes, they noticed the driving times on paper also.
