UF. Saying...believe UF got into trouble too due to Charlie...and as such he left Danny holding the dirty laundry bag when he left for UF, but Danny & Staff "may" have continued the infractions which got us on probation. Old history but came up due to UNC stuff and how we caught h*ll but they may not, as much.

the lions share of the violations that led to Clemson's NCAA probation occurred under the administration of head coach Charlie Pell.
Charlie Pell would leave Clemson in 1978 to become head coach at Florida, where his coaching career would end in 1984 following more NCAA rules violations.

The violations were under Pell. Did the same thing at UF which essentially got him banned from CFB.

We slipped some players some cash and got paddled severely for it! We wore the "Outlaw" label for years for our indiscretions.
But now, almost everyone from the fans, to the media, to the coaches, to university leadership across the nation is discussing ways in which we can pay players above the table.
HOWEVER ... I see nothing from anyone, anywhere discussing ways we can help players CHEAT to stay in school and remain eligible.
Paying players is really, really wrong by NCAA standards. They will penalize you severely if they catch you at it. We got caught and we paid (with interest thanks to the ACC) ...
But, in a university environment ACADEMIC FRAUD is much, much worse by any measure. Now the question is WHAT will the NCAA do about a real scandal that has lasted for almost 20 years??
