I think we bust out a bit on offense on Saturday

After the first quarter against BC, CM started opening it up and letting Cole throw it down the field. The result was that we began moving the ball quite effectively. We did get bogged down a few times, but overall, I thought we looked pretty good after the first quarter against a better D than we will face this weekend. I think we put up at least 35 Saturday night.

The one thing that has allowed me to sleep well this week has been the overwhelming conclusion that the BC defense is better than ours. I love so much that you guys think that. 24-10 Clemson.

Statistically yes BC has played better than us. I just think we're more on par with BC than worse. Maybe it's marginal. It's most likely moot anyway, even with my orange colored glasses, I don't see us moving the ball AT ALL

I was curious because if that's true then it seems the ACC has some pretty good defenses that don't get enough credit.

The Spence Special we keep throwing to Scott.. It's been working but it's going to get jumped and turned into a pick 6. Teams watch films and will be able to predict that were about to run it. Our D can hold their own but our offense can't put them in a bad situation or give up scores.

Part of the QB's check at the line is how tight the defender is playing on his target.
I'm certain we don't just blindly flip it out there no matter what.

The last two games changed completely with injuries. Watson got hurt gameplan out the window. Cole is hurt so next week the gameplan was to use Choice in wildcat some. He gets hurt gameplan out the window. So this week if the main player in their gameplan does not get hurt. I think our offense will look better.
