Homecoming Gameday Traffic and Parking

My wife and I are bringing my 3 year old and 2 month old to homecoming this Saturday. We will not be able to go to the game but planning to bring family to see floats, tailgate a bit, then head back to Greenville. Just polling to see where would be best place to pay and park and what time I would need to leave Clemson to avoid one way traffic coming in before game.

Just past Mellow Mushroom on 93 (Old Greenville Hwy) you'll see people holding up signs with how much it costs to park in their lots.
