So we will open 2015 with an ACC team?

Oct 22, 2014, 6:55 AM

http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-15/acc/2015-clemson-tigers-football-schedule.php

Or would we add another OOC game?

App State will not be an easy game! Ask Michigan.***

App State was a lot better then than they are now...

Oct 22, 2014, 7:35 AM

Ask Michigan (who played them this year).

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Michigan sucked out loud that year.

Oct 22, 2014, 7:47 AM [ in reply to App State will not be an easy game! Ask Michigan.*** ]

More than they normally do. Plus, they don't have Armanti Edwards.

Re: Michigan sucked out loud that year.

If Clemson opens on the road it will mean three straight years of road openers. At Georgia this year, 2015 ????, 2016 at Auburn.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Possibly Miami @ Miami....

Oct 22, 2014, 7:24 AM

Only two of Clemson's conference opponents next year don't already have games scheduled for 9/5 (Miami, and either BC or Wake I believe. I can't remember which).

hope for a home game for wake then bc not away game for hurricanes.

I'd guess cupcake

Oct 22, 2014, 7:33 AM

With Notre Dame and SCar our two OOC opponents next year, I'm inclined to think that the AD will schedule a nice fluffy opponent for our opener.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The dates for the four OOC games are already set....

Oct 22, 2014, 7:47 AM

Clemson will open the 2015 season against a conference opponent.

It should be an ACC opponent as we will get a cupcake, in-state team the week before Scar.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I thought we opened with Auburn the next 3 years,

Oct 22, 2014, 8:04 AM

like we did starting.........5 (?) or so years ago for 3 years. Then we took thUGA the last 2 years. I think it'll be another one of those home, away, neutral site (Chick-fil-a Kickoff Classic or whatever it'll be called by then). I could be wrong, but I thought thats what the deal was.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's a home and away scheduled for 2016 and 2017***

we have ND for 2015 Albarn for 2016 2017

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So, we will open up with an ACC Team? ND only

Oct 22, 2014, 8:25 AM

playing 5 ACC teams in CFB was just so screwey from the get go. Should it count as a conference W or L for the team ND plays? It's not like it effects ND in the same way, since they're not 100% affiliated with the conference as far as an ACCCG goes. I guess they have to rely on their SOS (and win every game depending on who and when their loss was) if they ever want to make the final 4.......or 6, or 8, or.....

Another "power house" schedule next year.

You should be a "shew in" for a winning season.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yea....

Oct 22, 2014, 8:35 AM

It's just too bad we don't play powerhouses like Kentucky, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Florida.

Re: Yea....

Oct 22, 2014, 8:39 AM

Which could all take you down.

Let's see. Who have you beat.

South Carolina State - Yes
North Carolina - Wow (East Carolina put 70 on them)
N.C. State - Super
Boston College - Another power house

Georgia - Now who did they lose to?
Florida State - You couldn't even beat them with a backup qb

Dude....you JockStraps lost to a team that got beat by.... Indiana who is 1 - 3 since that epic win.

Oct 22, 2014, 9:35 AM [ in reply to Re: Yea.... ]

Clemson beat UNC, who East Carolina put 70 on, but Norte Dame only put 50 on UNC, so East Carolina is better than ND, & the ####$ beat EC, so that means they get a win against ND.

I know that's a lot to ask, but to get to "power house" you have to play "power house" teams

Like an SEC East schedule is harder. Georgia, some

Oct 22, 2014, 9:49 AM [ in reply to Re: So we will open 2015 with an ACC team? ]

mediocre teams, and a few dumpster fires. I don't care what the names on the jerseys say, Tenn and Florida aren't better than Louisville and BC so quit kidding yourself.

The SEC West should trim the fat and start it's own conference without the dead weight of the SEC East dragging them down. Or maybe they need to keep the East to pad their W/L records.

Re: So we will open 2015 with an ACC team?

Oct 22, 2014, 10:13 AM

This schedule has an obvious flaw. It only has 13 slots, and should have 14 counting the two open dates that everyone has. I'm thinking the last Sat. in August is what's missing. Maybe the Chic-Fil-A.

Re: So we will open 2015 with an ACC team?

Oct 22, 2014, 10:19 AM

Wofford should be before USuCk.

We could possibly play the Labor Day Monday night game which would be an ACC game. Unless they aren't going to do it anymore who knows.
