Well that and we lost our starting/most dynamic playmaker for a 2-game stretch where we played 2 of the best defenses in the country.

against a top 10 defense, with a defense like we have, you can't undersell the importance of switching the field position on a team like BC.

1. Line up in the shotgun
2. Hand off-to RB behind L-tackle
3. Your choice - Bubble screen or hand off to RB behind L-tackle
4. since its 3rd and long, pass to check down receiver coming out of the backfield, or delayed handoff to RB behind L-tackle
5. Pinion punt
6. Pray the defense keeps playing their butts off
7. Repeat

sent the QB "RL," that meant run left; if "RR," that meant run right; "RUTM" was run up the middle.

If the QB suggested "Pass," Coach sent him a message: "FU." lol

Run three and a cloud of dust was our go-to in those days with an extra yard tossed in to get that first down.
