E$PN is now lobbying to do away with the "College Football Playoff" this season

Instead, they want to go with a "College Football SEC Playoff," which will pit the top 8 SEC teams against each other in a tournament to decide the national champion.

Note: All 8 playoff participants will get rings for making it that far, and will also be able to claim a share of the championship once a winner is determined.

The SEC will make history yet again this year, now as the only conference to crown 8 national champions in the same season. SEC! SEC! SEC!

Well it would mean that the Cootstains would once again be left out in the cold.
You did say the top 8 right ? Aww heck , they'd be out of that scenario if it was the top 11.

than 11th due to the SEC cellar being occupied by Vandy, Tenn, and Arky all with no conference wins. They only have 3 conference games left. Looks like after Saturday they'll be fighting Florida for 11th.

Coots still get rings even though not in top 8 just for being in the SEC.
Note: 4 weeks and counting since Coots have beat an FBS opponent. Go Tigers!
