it used to work with Boyd so it should work now? That's what kills me about OCs across FB, not just Morris: it seems like they all have a playbook and call they same stuff every year no matter the personnel. Obviously you have to recruit to fit your scheme and philosophy, but at the end of the day when you dont have that particular player to fit that special need, you need to change what your doing. This isnt even a philosophical change though, its just a personnel issue where you put Choice in, or a formation change where you go under center. If you watch the 4th and inches at the 40, had we handed off on the sweep he couldve easily picked up the 1st down. Clearly that isnt a read built into the play and maybe it should be. The fact that we have a play under center and he wont call it just shows how hard-headed he really is.
