wow ticket prices

Oct 1, 2014, 8:01 PM

we have it pretty good at Clemson.....but we better start bracing for the future.

http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/writer/jon-solomon/24730405/dynamic-ticket-pricing-gains-traction-in-college-football

Four years ago, college football had only four face-value tickets that athletic departments sold at $100 or more. This year, CBSSports.com found 55 of those tickets (not counting luxury suites or factoring in required donations). Some of these games can only be bought through season tickets. Some include less-expensive ticket options. Some are part of dynamic pricing based on the market. At least one school's high prices (Arizona State) are because the tickets are premium seats that include a meal and alcohol sales. Get used to it. The $100+ ticket appears here to stay.

"I've been working since I was 15 continually until now. I worked 40 hours a week at 15, when it wasn't even legal for 15 year olds to work that many hours."

FSU at Miami? Has to be a joke. There will be 50,00 FSU fans there and 500 Miami fans. I have been told you can get into most Miami games free. They give away tickets and will even let you in without a ticket.

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?

$100 per game is when my family stops going***

You've only got about 2 years left, then

SCarolina home game tickets' face value is $90 this year. Two years ago it was $75 (see http://www.tigernet.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=1166387). Expect prices to go up similarly for the 2016 SCar game.

Even at current prices, it is very expensive to attend a game. Thank God, most of our games are on TV. Otherwise I'd have to list to the Clemson Radio Network, that would be painful!
