I wonder if Keith Marshall wishes he came to Clemson?

Only 12 carries on the year. He's been passed on the depth chart by 2 freshmen. His current NFL prospects do not look good.
It's a shame because he appears to be a stand-up guy and talented from what I have seen.
Not sure if there's a problem with his work ethic or attitude or if Chubb/Michel are really just that much better. Clearly they are good, but I always thought KM was pretty good too. He's better than any of our current 4 RB's IMO.

They're that good. You could argue UGA has the three best RBs in the country on their team

He could be starting for us instead of for that dumpster fire up in Chapel Hole.

Doesn't really make a difference for him

He can do just as well for his career if he goes to UNC as if he went to Clemson. NFL teams don't just ignore talented players because they came from mediocre programs. The only difference is that he probably won't get to experience as many wins in college.
Besides, UNC really isn't that bad. They've only lost two games to two pretty good teams so far, so there's no reason to think they can't win 8-9 games this year.

You are certainly not the only one. I was really disappointed when we let him get away. He could easily become the next Gurley. I would love to know what forced him to leave Notre Dame for blue heaven$!

By all accounts, Marshall is a real high character kid

Interestingly when Marshall and Gurley were being recruited, while Gurley was bigger and considered to be more physical, Marshall was supposed to have more explosiveness and speed.

Marshall sat out last week due to injury and was limited the week before.

Marshall was injured in the Troy game, and I don't think he played at all last week. Of course, he had an injury last year also. Chubb is very talented though, so even if Marshall was healthy he might still be behind Chubb.
If Marshall had come to Clemson, I think he would have started last year, and certainly this year, if healthy.

Get banged up against clemson? He hasn't played much since I could see him sitting out and transferring. He will be a NFL back, it's just the other three will be either the first or second back taken in the NFL draft.

which ended his season.
He is currently a Junior so transferring probably isn't a feasible option for him.

Not if he's seen our o-line run block

The talent at halfback isn't the problem in the run game. Sure we don't have a Gurley back there but guys are getting hit within a yard or two of the line, if not behind it. It's pretty hard to establish a running game when you have to make people miss and break tackles to get 4 yards.
