The hole in that fairy tale is that Thompson is nowhere near Connor Shaw in his ability to both rally the troops or take it upon himself to win by will alone.
I give it to CShaw on that .
Thompson showed you what he could do with the 4 harmless throws at the end of the Mizzou loss.

This is an overexaggeration, but it seems they announced before every game for the past two years that Shaw would potentially miss due to injury.

Drove through Cootville on Monday, normally I avoid 560AM, but I had to tune in. It was classic radio and most of that redneck fanbase is ready to throw DT to the side and start over.
