Two realistic choices to think about looking ahead to Dec

Sep 23, 2014, 4:57 PM

1) CU wins out for the regular season to finish 10-2 but both Chad Morris and Brent Venables leave for new jobs in December. Some other assistants may or may not leave with them and things are up in the air for a key period of time in bowl prep and recruiting before signing day.

2) CU finishes 9-3 or 8-4 but keeps all the current staff in place for 2015.

Florida, Michigan, Nebraska and other attractive programs might be open.

What are the chances the Tigers have a great finish and keep all assistant coaches?

10-2 and the staff remains completely intact.

no matter what the record, neither will leave. they have not achieved anything with us...we went to the Orange Bowl and was a defacto rep for the ACC since FSU went for the title, we have not beaten our rival in 5 years, UGA tore our defense up in the opener while Morris does not trust a 5star high school phenom QB to take a snap under center on 4th and inches in tallahassee...neither have very good resumes other than the fact we win 10 a year and always lose to USC...

Fuzzy, you are either not a Clemson fan or you
are just a whiny person.Dang man,lift your
spirits, its just a game and we win most of
our games. How many titles has sos won at usuc?
Dabo has done a great job for someone who had
never been a head coach.

Neither BV or The Chad will leave

Sep 23, 2014, 5:30 PM

Apparently, CM is a terrible playcaller, who would hire him now?

BV, imo, loves coaching defense and would rather do that than be an HC at the moment. Why would you leave a place you just got to have a full recruiting cycle of your players?

Clemson

I'll take door #, ahhhh number

SCAR fails to make the CCG again and Clemson crosses their bridges as we come to them.

A 10-2 will land Clemson in the Orange bowl with another good SEC team to check our pulse against. Most likely the loser of the CCG. Personally, I hope the East takes this one and we get one of the Big Boys for a change. :)

Dabo sets the tone here. I'll take Dabo, he will replace anyone who leaves with someone better. Our incoming class is almost on the books and we have the best rising star QB in the land. With all our young talent playing in the ACC our shot at a playoff spot will draw much attention. Who wouldn't want to work with that?

:) another cheap shot at UGAy and you guise
