The beauty of the "we beat ourselves" line of thinking is that you can always use it, because nobody every plays a perfect game and loses. I mean, if Dabo is using it in a 24 point loss, you can use it in any loss.
It implies that you are always the better team, and the other team didn't deserve to win, you just gave them the game with your mistakes. But why would anyone want a coach who had a better team and lost a game by 24 points?

I did not hear a single person say that. Didn't see a single person post anything like that on any of our boards. Seriously? If I thought we had a better team than A&M and lost as bad as we did in that game I would want the coaching staff fired yesterday.

Nobody said it on the boards. Spurrier didn't say it. When the team makes mistakes he calls them out on it. If that hurts their feelings and they can't handle that then they shouldn't be playing major college football in front of millions of people on TV.
