our QB being unable to take an under-center hike from the one-foot line? Chad stated before our 1st game that coaches are teachers. Isn't teaching all about students learning concepts they are uncomfortable with? Should we not teach both our QB's how to run a one-foot QB sneak? It may prove useful against SC or BC.

I'll tell you this, you will probably see another shotgun snap at the 1foot line. Except you will see a td. Execution failed, not the play call. We aren't going to alter gameplan to prevent another mistake. A mistake is something you don't prepare for, plan against, or even expect

This has got to be the most asinine talking point I have heard in years.
we did not lose because Watson is uncomfortable behind center. We lost because we did not execute the plays that were called.

Is it worth it to reduce risk and win the game? Yes.
Do kickers miss kicks, get a case of nerves and miss another kick? Yes. Can centers also get a case of nerves with a 300lb nose guard about to hit them and the game on the line? Yes.
So why is risk reduction asinine?

I am not calling you assinine BTW, just tired of hearing people pissandmoan about a phenomenal true freshman having a weakness that can easily be coached out of him in time.
I got beat up on saturday night night when I suggested that this was the issue. Some people need to take their heads of of Kirk Herbsteit's behind and not parrot everything he says on a live broadcast on an internet chat forum. I would much rather focus on the positives.

Unless we get a kicker and find a rb threat yes we will. Don't have enough threats on offense to just relay on the d. They won't show up every game like they did last week..
