Clemsoning

Sep 21, 2014, 3:25 PM

While I am sick and disappointed with the way the Tigers lost. I am proud the program is held to the high standard of "Clemsoning". :)

I hate that the same can't be said for:

1) The 'perennial B10 powerhouse' University of Michigan Wolverines (Utah...at the big house...really??...add the App. State blast from the past, LOL)

2) The #18 University of Missouri Tigers (Indiana...in Columbus...can u say Bowling Green and not laugh? Are they "SEC" or "former Big XII" this week?)

3) The #8 Louisiana State University Tigers (MSU...in Death Valley (wink,wink)...oh wait MSU is in the SEC...that explains it.)

Did i miss anyone for week 4??

What a joke some of these 'reporters' are. A keyboard and a .com are all that is required.

We have our issues, but are not outliers in this great world of college football.

The SEC and it's affiliated sports writers always take shots at ACC teams. Our loss was far better that LSU, Mizzou or Michigan. We were a twelve point dog in their house, playing a freshman QB. Believe me when I say the rest of our future opponents are worried.

Clemsoning was originally used by the media only to include those games where Clemson lost and was favored to win; not for games where they are double digit underdogs.

Thought so too.

The most recent Washington Post article quotes the urban dictionary definition as "the act of delivering an inexplicably disappointing performance, usually within the context of a college football game".

Perfect source for a fine upstanding newspaper.
