Winston Suspension and Playoff Committee...

Just listened to the story on on ESPN.com.

The guy said that the playoff committee would take into account that if Florida State lost, and they weren't playing their star player, that they would take that into account during the selection process. So it sounds as if they win all but the game against us, they may still be a lock.

I wonder if we win all of our games if the committee will take into account the 3 offensive linemen and safety Dabo suspended for the Georgia game, and that the lack of depth played into the reason why the Tigers stalled out during the 4th quarter.

We know what that answer to that is.

Actually in our situation, it was 2 offensive linemen (1 of which quit prior to the game), a defensive end and a cornerback. But none of them have the hype that Winston has.

actually made some sense. they stated the committee would take into account injuries, but suspensions were punishments by the team,league,etc, and would not be looked at like the player(s) were out.

This won't be the first nor last time a key player is lost...even someone as important as Winston.
