Was listening to the Dan Le Betard show on ESPN radio on the way home, and Le Betard and the other dudes on his show was defending Winston. They were claiming it wasn't a big deal and the only reason it was being talked about because Winston was the Heisman trophy winner. They had the audacity to even claim that if Marcus Mariotta did the same thing you wouldn't hear about it.
Le Betard has been suspended recently for inappropriate statements, he has been doing this for years. ESPN should fire him. Absolutely pathetic for ESPN to defend a sexual deviant.

And then directed your anger toward ESPN? Sure, they are his employers, but 99% of everyone I have listened to on ESPN networks today have not only advocated for a punishment but believe it should be much more harsh than one half in one game.

They went after llebatard due to his significant fan base and national following. People like him because he is off the cuff and not calculated like so many in huge media. Lebatard is a funny guy who is pretty knowledgeable as well.
I agree he may not be for everyone but hey just because he isn't as polished doesn't mean he isn't any good
