Sep 15, 2014, 10:56 PM

been discussed?

I still haven't seen it, but heard a little bit about it on the radio today.

Sounded wild.

Texas received in the first half.

You sure? Maybe I'm missing something.

A mix-up at the opening coin toss will force Texas to kick off at the start of both halves of Saturday's game against UCLA.

The Bruins won the toss and chose to defer, but the Longhorns elected to kick off instead of receive.

UCLA will start the second half with the ball. SI.

The details make it even worse

Sep 16, 2014, 1:16 AM

1. Texas had both team Captains out there and they both got it wrong
2. One was a Junior and the other a Senior
3. "The ref even turned the microphone off to explain to the Texas captain what he was doing. And they still chose to kick."

Not sure you can blame the players on this one? Sounds like coaching. If the coaches actually went over this and neither player could grasp the concept, they probably shouldn't be in college.

Must have been one of the few recruits that Spurrier couldn't even get into Suck U. Too funny!

is a widely used, sound strategy for the game of football.
