Hudson now favoring an SEC school By Phil Kornblut
Clemson has been the leader for 6-1 PG Ty Hudson of Mableton, GA for most of the summer, but Thursday night Hudson declared Ole Miss as his current leader as his official visits approach.
"I like Ole Miss a lot," said Hudson adding that Clemson is now #2 n his list. "I went up there (in August) and I just feel in love with it. I just liked everything about it."
Hudson has three official visits set. He goes to Clemson September 26th, Ole Miss October 3rd and Creighton October 10th. He also plans to visit VCU and Virginia Tech.
Earl Grant was recruiting Hudson for Clemson but Steve Smith has taken off following Grant's departure for the College of Charleston. "He's telling me I'm still their #1 recruit and nothing has changed," Hudson said. "Every one that I set up an official with and VCU, I feel like I'm their number one."
Hudson does not have a timetable on a decision and is not sure he will sign in November.
