When I was a Clemson student in the early 80's, a buddy and I went to Athens one weekend to visit his sister who was a student at UGA. We walked past a brand new "Smokey and the Bandit" black Trans AM with the golden eagle on the hood and his sister said, "That's Herschel's car"! Not long after that, Vince Dooley was pushing the NCAA to come down on Clemson. He wasn't happy that Clemson had beat Georgia in 81 and gone on to the National Championship.

Just stoking the fire.
