Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

You can usually get a good 1 yr deal with DirectTV or Dish.

Or do you want to get away from cable/satellite altogether?

I'd love to be able to ditch all cable/satellite services and only have to pay for channels I watch. My goal is to have Roku/internet and be able to get channels al la cart. When's that gonna happen?

There are tons of different options

Aug 30, 2014, 8:50 AM

Apple TV, that little Google Crome thing (only $35), any smart tv you can stream to, etc. The only problem is you need cable to be able to log into the Watch ESPN app unless you find a way to hack into it or have someone that will let you use their login. The day ESPN allows people to buy access to it is the day cable and satellite lose a lot of subscribers.

Well, I can dream

Oh same here man

I can't wait for that day to happen. The cable and satellite companies have to see it coming and I'm sure they are doing everything they can to stop it.

If you bought ESecPN a la carte, it would be so expensive

Aug 30, 2014, 9:02 AM [ in reply to There are tons of different options ]

you'd probably just opt to take the other channels anyway and pay the small difference.

Heck yes

You can buy some

Channels now for mobile phones now, such as HBO, Showtime, and Starz. You can use Google Crome Cast to view on your TV, or Google TV. I think the channels that are providing quality programming will follow this strategy.
