I remember emailing Napier about Hutson Mason

It was late-November and Hutson had just broken state records or touchdowns in a game and was coming off a record season for yards and touchdowns I believe. Told Napier he needed to take a look if he hadn't already.
I remember very distinctly Napier replying to my email saying they were full on QBs but possibly had a situation coming up that would free a spot and he asked for his cell #. The next week Willy Korn announced he was transferring and Napier brought Hutson in right after that. Hutson really liked Tennessee and would have gone there if they offered. When Clemson came calling, however, I remember he was very excited. Had we offered, I believe there was a good shot he would have been a Tiger. Hutson is the type of character model and leader we want and have at Clemson. He would have fit in very well.
This game will be tough for me. I'm pulling for Hutson but obviously hope we take home the W.

Vic and the defensive line eat him alive and the defensive backs are shutting down all of his check down routes so he can't do anything but get planted or throw a pick.

Im sure he is a great kid ....if you say so I believe ya.
This week though , he is the enemy quarterback and I hope we destroy him and his team. I hope he gets harassed into mistakes and throws interceptions , I hope he fumble the ball back to our team and I really hope he gets sacked next to 9 times .
Other than that , good luck to a fine young fella who lives in Athens , Ga.

Some of these kids apart are actually decent sorts. But lump them together into the aggragate that is Georgia, and they must be dealt with sternly.
