Just remembered this recently and thought I'd share

I went to the Clemson/ South Carolina game in 2008 at willy b. This is the game we won on a last second FG BY Mark Buchholz. I was sitting in the upper deck. Anyway, when I got there I noticed an older gentleman sitting next to me, wearing an Ohio St. sweatshirt. Turns out he was a Buckeye grad and had decided to travel around and visit some stadiums that were on his "bucket list". He started asking a lot of questions about the Clemson and gamecock "rivalry" and something about fire extinguishers. I was happy to share my knowledge on the subject.
After a while it was time for the game to start and it was time for the coots to run out of the tunnel. He said he'd heard a lot about this "tradition" and was anxious to view it first hand.
After it was over, I turned to ask what he thought about it and there were tears streaming down his face. He reached out to shake my hand, and of course I took it. He said that was the stupidest thing he'd ever seen in his many years of following college football, I mean seriously, fire extinguishers?!?
Anyway, that's been some time ago, and may have never actually happened, but I thought I'd share anyway.
