In case anyone forgot

Aug 20, 2014, 5:09 PM

Zac had a HUGE impact on the UGA game last year. I imagine he was going to split touches with DJ early on, with the occasional CJ Davidson carry. His presence will be missed. To jog your memory:

I honestly believe that CJ gets the workload. He is that talented. If I am not mistaken, he got the first carry in the Orange Bowl.

I agree. If CJ holds onto the ball he is violent and fast. Great combo we haven't had in a while.

And i think his absence will have a Huge impact on the GA game this year. you can't replace experience. LOL at GA playing walk-on safety Connor Norman.....jeez.

RB is a position where inexperience can succeed

And CJ isn't exactly a rookie. He's also built a lot more solidly than Zac.

You'll know the names Wayne Gallman and CJ Davidson soon.***

Lol and you're doing it again this year.

The obvious news of the day was Georgia's defensive personnel and the makeup of the secondary in particular. As I detailed in yesterday's report, the Bulldogs' had three rookies and a walk-on in their starting lineup.

Several weeks ago there was a thread about which RB would have the most yards this season - I went with CJ - I'm still thinking I'll be right. Too many are under-estimating CJ. The guy can fly and hits the gaps extremely fast. I like how he runs. Not sure if he gains 1000 this year - but I would not be surprised - even using "RB by committee".

Thanks for cheering me up.***
