Gamecock fans obsessed with Tigers!

It's amazing to me how many times I've read that on this board, but in reality, it's just the opposite. Over a 2 week period, each evening, I observed posts about Tigers on FGF, and posts about Gamecocks on here. There were twice as many posts about Gamecocks on here as vice versa. But hey, don't take my word, try it for yourself! Most of the SC posts on here (about 70%) were about Spurrier, and the other 30% were the generic, "Yesterday, I saw an old 'coot' under a bridge...yada, yada." Interestingly, the other board had about the same percentage of posts about Swinney (70), and the the other 30% were, "Yesterday, I saw an old 'tater' under a bridge...yada, yada." It's probably like this with all great rivalries. Those fans, whose team is on a win streak, are busy concentrating on their recent success, while the fans of the other team are busy vilifying those hated rivals.

I don't drop by here often, but when I do it seems like half the posts are about the Gamecocks. But I know, I know...we are not in your head.

5 in a row is rare for both programs. This streak of 5 is the first in the modern era of college football, actually. Clemson pulled off 7 back in the 30's when teams had about 18 players who played both ways and played with leather helmets.

Yeah, I have suffered through 4 in a row several time. It really sucked. By the 5th year I was dieing for a win. Can't even imagine what waiting yet another year must be like...
