I'd say it's 50% unfounded pompousness and 50% dread of getting their butts handed to them on national TV again.
I know the other SECheat fans are still giving them hail about the last two times they were beaten by us along with their giving up the last BCSMNC game.

That said, what have they accomplished without cheating (Cam $$$)? Two fluke plays and a signal stealing coach for a half in the last National championship game? Psssft. Please.
Plus your AU lineman was off-sides during the FG attempt, while Kyle Parker could not throw a dang back yard pass in the game you barely beat us.

I would rather have played another team, maybe oklahoma, or texas, or some team like that. Quite honestly; I don't think auburn is going to be that big of a deal this year, and probably the year after. Certainly not as big of a deal as their fan base seems to think.

What do we have to prove by playing a team we already smacked around twice in a row?
See, it works both ways.
Honestly I would rather have seen us schedule another strong team in a different conference, or a different SEC team. Tennessee or Florida would be pretty cool. But Auburn's all right. Could be worse, could be Mississippi State or Arkansas or Kentucky.

their fans frankly are afraid of possibility of losing 4 straight times to an ACC school..like CLEMSON, who should have won the Auburn game in 2010 (NO NC if that had happened) but their dirty play (by couple players only) caused our QB to have to play with a broken rib(s) but he came back to even up the score..and in OT when we could have ended it his pain caused him to throw ball too hard for our "wide open in the endzone" freshman receiver..or that would have been one loss.
Saying..in 3 games Clemson has outplayed Auburn all three games..winning 2!!
