Yep. Forget using the attach image feature. You'll have to find the image source, or the URL where the image is hosted on the web.

If the image is on your computer, you'll have to use a service like Imgur to upload and host it. This will provide you with a URL --- the URLs work most consistently when you include the file extension on the end. E.g. "http://images.example.com/sample-image.png" . I've had them work before without including the .png, .gif. jpg, etc., but sometimes this doesn't work with certain parameters.

If the image is online, you just need to right click on it and select "Copy Image URL" or "Copy Image Location" (NOT just Copy Image) and past that URL in the Image URL box at the bottom of the post edit screen.

Steps:
Create new post
Upload new pic
Right-click pic after it uploads and click open in new tab
Copy url
Use img src tag to post image like so....

If you think your method is easier and more practical, then our digital paradigms have once again collided.

Using Imgur or just scoping out the URL is much better than downloading to PC and then reuploading with new tabs and writing the HTML tags and whatnot.
