Ray Ray's story as a cautionary tale...

Jul 29, 2014, 7:44 AM

When a young man says he isn't playing games...

When a young man has a family involved in the decision ...

When a young man says he is looking at his options "to be sure I'm making the right decision" ...

If Clemson is among his final choices, you'd be wise to stop discounting the Tigers. Recruits have learned something you still seem to have trouble discerning: There's something in those hills. And, these days, as always, that "something" is the best place to grow as a player and a man.

Sometimes that truth has been hidden in the mists that hang on our mountains. Now, it is a beacon ... a brilliant light calling the best.

Many more will follow in time. And you pundits would do well to follow that light, rather than furtively poke along in the darkness of old paths.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Yep ... really!***

One Must Be Careful Following Lights in the Dark

Jul 29, 2014, 9:03 AM

Often times it may be

1) The burning ghetto tire fires in Columbia
2) A Klan rally in Tuscaloosa
3) A Meth lab burning out of control in Tallahassee or Gainsville.

It is good Ray Ray followed the true light.
