Have a breakout type of year besides me?
Just looking at the playing time he had last year the guy looks really really good. I know this is nothing new but it doesn't seem he gets much attention considering how well he plays in all aspects of the game!
From what I can tell, he runs extremely hard with power and has the extra gear when he gets in the open. He secures the ball well also.
His hands are great and he catches nearly everything that comes his way. He seems to be as good a receiver as any we have and with speed to burn. He came in as a 4* athlete so it should not be a surprise I guess.
Maybe it's just the orange colored glasses I wear but I think our offense doesn't miss a beat this year and could be even better.
And yes... you can have what I am having... plenty to go around... lol

bandwagon, some seem to favor Howard. I don't know, seems like this year every year there are about 25 players who are poised to have "break out years" I'm hesitant to hand out the label.

I'm just basing my thoughts on what I have seen.
Howard was great in the Auburn game and then didn't do a whole lot. Doesn't seem to protect the ball well either.
Brooks has had a lot of work with Stoudt also.

backs that are going to have strong seasons. I see this unit playing as a group through the year - fitting the personnel into plays based on the opposition and different match-ups we'll be seeing, and going to the hot hand.

Howard, IMHO, will never be more than an occasional backup contributor. The kid tries hard but he just doesn't have "it". He runs too straight up and has a problem quickly hitting the hole. In addition, his competition is much better. Unless we have a number of injuries, Howard will never get many touches. But, what do I know?

I like what he does on the field as well,but he did make an admission during the spring that he wasn't ready to be the guy for whatever reason

I've always thought Brooks was going to be our go-to RB at some point, but it never happened due to whatever reasons. I still would hate to think I had to tackle that guy. He runs hard and has some dang good moves.
I think Dye would be a better RB though at this point - if Dye were healthy. Dang - I hate he's had so many injuries. He would have been a force.

CJ Davidson is going to break out. He has speed, moves and vision. The good news is we have a bunch of good RB's!

quite frankly, none of these guys have done enough to make that type evaluation/prediction. We will see. I hope Dye can get back in the mix soon and that Choice is as good as advertised. I don't think Howard is a go to guy and Brooks is more of a receiver out of the backfield.

Zac's TD catch against GA is tattooed on my brain...love that play and the eruption of Death Valley that followed. Now I hope we can talk about a lot of plays via Zac at season's end.

IF he can avoid the injury bug he should be a major contributor to the team. I think that he and C.J should equal 1000 yards between them.
