I went to the new Academy Sports store,in Irmo,
located between Harbison Blvd.and Bower Parkway.
I didn't see any Clemson shirts,hats are anything
else Clemson.One section was loaded with coot
junk.They also didn't have any items from other
teams.The associate told me that they have a contract
not to sell Clemson apparel.She is a Clemson fan
and even got married at Clemson.She didn't like
it either but couldn't change it.I told her that
i would just continue to go across the street to
##### Sporting goods or the Tiger Paw at Jewelry
Warehouse also across the street.Target in harbison
and Wal-Mart doesn't sell Clemson gear either.
Wal-Mart near Ballentine does.Maybe

I'm sure some coot started this maybe owned the land or even owns this franchise if it is that. You should start a fb page bringing this to all the clemson fans attention in the area telling them not to shop there till it changes.

It's also the hometown of Rodney Williams and Marion Reeves. Most of the shamecock fans in Irmo, weren't shamecock fans a few years ago. But most Irmo Tiger fans just buy Clemson stuff when we are up in Clemson or online from the stores up in Clemson.

It is true,the manager told me by phone that they
have a contract with under armour and usc to not
sell any other sports gear but usuc.this store,he
said,is the first to do this and it is on a trial
basis.They are taking note of all complaints from
Clemson fans and he said it could change later.It
came from corporate.The corporate operator had never
heard of this but the manager verified it.Another
reason,he said,is the stores proximity to usuc.

My wife was playing with the idea of buying a boat load of Clemson gear the next time she's in Greenville (or get it online) and returning it all to the Harbison store. Get a few hundred people to do that and they'll have Clemson gear coming out their ears.

don't recall seeing much if any the few times I have been in the store. I know all the Walmarts, Targets and Academy Sports in the Greenville area carry both equally.
