Hats off to Braxton Miller. He was phenomenal.

Jul 24, 2014, 10:25 PM

(@_@) The announcers and the refs so wanted OSU to win. They were so sad in the last few minutes.

How do you define phenomenal? Part complement, part insult. Complement because our defense was so tough on him? Or insult because he played so hard and didn't deserve to lose to Clemson?

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?
• Boss

I believe the term was "hurt'n buckaroo."

I was on the verge of screaming after the announcer used it for the 5th or 6th time that night.

My husband and I ate lunch in the hotel restaurant in Miami at a table next to Matt Millen. My husband struck up a conversation with him and he seemed pretty dismissive of Tajh and of Clemson as a team. Got the impression he knew some of the OSU players and families personally. Not at all surprised by some if his comments during the game.

Miller put on a show, considering what we were doing to him

Jul 25, 2014, 7:52 AM

...I thought of Charlie Whitehurst in our game vs. Texas Tech a decade earlier. Of course, the announcers weren't quite so gushing with praise for the effort then.

Miller's play was clearly affected by Clemson's defense.

At the game - upper deck - we could not see how badly he was hurt. Seeing the game later on tv with the close-up shots, I was able to see it.

That he kept coming back for more says a lot about his determination. I'm impressed at that.
