UofL running backs

Jul 24, 2014, 11:50 AM

I was looking at the UofL roster for next year and noticed that they're going to be pretty stacked at RB next year. Dominique Brown and Michael Dyer averaged over 5 ypc last year, and they'll have a pretty good OL blocking for them. Meanwhile, even though they were playing pretty poor competition, UofL's defense was one of the best last year (see how they shut down Miami in their bowl game).

This should be a pretty tough game for our Tigers, and I'd be much more worried about it if it was in Louisville.

Bring 'em on. Beastly's hungry.

Good thing we'll have an elite DL to stop them

Also shutting down Miami doesn't mean a thing to me last year. Don't forget that Duke beat them and Wake was VERY close to doing the same IN Miami and I think the Hurricanes only had something like 17 points in that game.

Their D isn't all that great, but it will be solid enough. I just have faith that by that point in the year our O will have gelled and Morris would have found how to use the young skill players effectivly.

Duke was actually pretty good last year

Don't forget they probably would've won against ATM if it weren't for Johnny Manziel and a late INT returned for a TD. I don't think ATM was all that great last year, but they did come awfully close to beating both Alabama and Auburn.

Duke had a great year for them, but I have to be honest

I think we would have beaten them by 30. That defense was suspect, and A&M had a field day on it.

Don't let there be a doubt about it..............

Louisville is going to be a major player in the ACC, if not this year, then for every year hereafter. Bobby Petrino is a great coach and his offenses are elite. Louisville will be a tough game each year, here or there, and the same will be true for Boston College. This is going to be a very tough year for our Tigers with UGA, FSU, UL, BC and those#### Coots!
