It seemed no matter what we needed, he would get us those yards. The second effort, falling forward, and good speed / vision made him special for us.

Note: I consider CJ more of a hybrid-position superhero than a pure RB.

scrimmage if you asked nice. Anyway, I went to the first scrimmage that Priester participated in at Clemson. And, back then, you did not know their height,weight,40 time,blood type,and Zodiac sign. Well, the offense was headed towards the West endzone and they gave the ball on a dive up the middle to #27. Boys, it was the loudest pop of pads I have ever heard on a field. The linebacker who hit Priester, hit the ground, Priester took a half step back, and went around the corner for about 5 more yards. I said to the coach I was with that I believe we had a stud for a tailback. Little did I know....
