A WVU jersey doubles as the perfect wedding dress (with sizes up to 4XL). Thus, the reason for high jersey sales and also the reason why there are still no David's Bridals in the state of WV.

Revenue from Jersey bow tie and orange pants sales (2012-2013) % of Total Licensing Revenue

Clemson $112,375 ~10

$3-$4 off a $60 jersey? Even more reason

no never buy one.

Buy a generic jersey, then go get the # you want added to it

Seems like a simple solution. I want a Grady Jarret's #50, but you'd never see it in stores unless he had a career like the Fridge.

You sure that math is right?

It seems to me to be saying that jersey revenue for the university represents on average 1.1% of all licensing revenue for the university.

So instead of Clemson making $12k on jerseys at $3-4 a pop or 1.09 million dollars in jersey sales (or 18k jerseys at $60 a pop) it actually means that 1.1% of all licensing revenue is from jerseys - so Clemson had $1.09 million in licensing.

Am I not reading this right?

Dumb. Numbers shouldn't matter, whether / not player's name

is on the jersey should be the issue here.

Lots of fans are buying Chinese knockoffs..

anyway. Saw a ton of knock offs this past season. I don't buy that schools only get 4 dollars from jerseys that now cost 89$

profiting off of college athletics by far. College's have to fund the programs with the much, much smaller percentages that they make.
