an 8 year old and help coach his team and they are similar. Great talent look great in warm ups but when the lights come on they struggle. They are undefeated right now but make silly mistakes that make them work even harder to win.
I understand Roy's point but Kreiger said that not Roy. Kreiger said that in an interview before the game last night.

OR MAYBE THE BULLPEN WOULD HAVE TO START pitching to their capabilities. we certainly pitched well enough to win both games this week. we have guys that have not pitched as well as last year. maybe it will click in. better happen soon. irwin, lovorn and moyer pitched well and clate wasnt terrible.

Exactly I think with those two guys throwing we have the ability to get hot. You can get through regionals and supers with 2 pitchers. Sure we struggle in the bullpin but other nights we have looked like a CWS team. Maybe that team will show up at the right time.

They had two good pitchers, and not much after that..
Warren Spahn and Johnny Sain were great, so the fans's favorite saying was "Spahn and Sain, then a day of of rain".
The pitchers were on a 3 day rotation, so that's all they would need.
Kinda reminds me of the Tigers, although Erwin is shaping up.
