that Clemson was too far away. Gee that extra ten minutes is a deal breaker? That is as bad as the kid that picked Auburn over Clemson because of Chick Fil'a. Both aren't too bright.

Athens/Clemson/Auburn - hard to figure out

which is the worse drive. Mileage is easy, it's Athens. But getting from Marietta to Clemson can be a challenge if it's on a weekday.

I think he was just saying something, anything that came to his mind. Maybe the truth is he picked those three as his finalists because of closeness. He did have offers from SCar, MichState, etc., after all.
