This year we have experience on the OL, but no QB that has started a college game. Next year, we could have a QB with a years experience (Watson or Kelley) and a very inexperienced OL. The defense may be our strong area this year, but we lose several key guys next year. We have all of our coaches coming back this year, next year- who knows. It is SO difficult to have four strong teams; offense, defense, special teams and coaching. The head coach who can see into the future and plan for all eventualities is the one who will be successful. I think that we have that coach.
I thought Stoudt started a game year before last when Boyd was hurt. Granted it is a fine point in regrads to the post but I think he may have a start under his belt. Anyway everyone had to start somewhere even Boyd.
